I've recently entered my 30s which explains why I really like wagons now. For all those dad racers, here is a 90s inspired BMW motorsport livery. With this project I wanted to take the time and explore how to UV wrap, hence why I picked a checkered livery design.

Here are a few visual of the Beemer wagon climbing Pikes Peak. I drew inspiration from the stunning photography captured during the Time Attack Challenge, especially the golden hour shots, which I used as a reference.

About the project

As a child, I was a huge fan of NFS Most Wanted. The way BMW brought the E46 M3 GTR from the game into reality inspired me to create a car based on that theme. I believe that incorporating a story into a project significantly enhances its value. The game had a blend of urban and industrial aesthetics, reflected in its UI and the city's scenery, especially during golden hours. That’s the atmosphere I aimed to capture in the visuals.
