BMW R1250RT (2020 Facelift)

2020: The new BMW R 1250 RT has been completely redesigned with a fresh, dynamic look and enhanced touring character. I contributed to the design of key features, including the front fairing, full LED headlight, and 10.25” TFT colour screen. The redesigned front fairing gives the bike a lighter, more aerodynamic appearance while improving the rider’s field of vision. The new full LED headlamp, with optional adaptive turning function, emphasizes a bold, modern face for the motorcycle and enhances the riding experience with innovative light functions. The 10.25” TFT screen integrates navigation and connectivity directly into the instrument cluster for the first time on a motorcycle, providing a clear, intuitive interface that complements the bike’s modern aesthetic. Overall, the new R 1250 RT combines a refreshed, dynamic exterior with cutting-edge cockpit design, reinforcing its position as a benchmark in touring motorcycles.
