I am a Junior CAS Modeller with a deep passion for automotive field and surface modeling. After graduating in 2023, I completed an internship as a CAS modeller, where I gained experience using Alias for surface modeling in the automotive sector. For me, design and modeling are not just about aesthetics. Every component must have a clear function and be designed with precision and attention to detail. My mindset is closer to that of engineers, where efficiency and functionality come before pure aesthetics. I believe that a good project is the right balance between form and function, without unnecessary compromises. I am particularly focused on surfaces that have a significant impact on aerodynamics, ensuring that they are not only visually refined but also optimized for performance. Working with 3D modeling software feels like playing video games to me. I get fully immersed in the process, always experimenting and searching for the best solution. This approach helps me tackle even the most challenging tasks with enthusiasm and determination. I prefer to tackle challenges independently whenever possible, as I believe in problem-solving and pushing myself to find solutions, but I’m always open to confrontation with others members of the team. To expand my skills, I am currently self-learning CAD software like Fusion 360 and SolidWorks, which I believe are essential for a complete understanding of 3D modeling and prototyping. Currently I am also participating in OpenImpresa, a program organized by OpenHub Lazio, which supports innovative business ideas. This experience is helping me develop my skills and knowledge, as I would like to start a 3D modeling and printing service for car and motorcycle customization and restoration.
