About

My car design journey started when I was a child. My father who is a huge fan of racing, had model cars on the tv stand. I would stare at them imagining my future career and the cars I would design. The passion that my father instilled in me has never wavered. As soon as I knew how to hold a pencil I have been sketching cars. In Hong Kong, we don't have an automotive design course, so I studied Industrial and Product Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I then studied vehicle design abroad just like Anthony Lo's story. I was fortunate to meet two admirable mentors Philippe Casens and Fred Han in PolyU, who gave me so much advice on car design. I’m extremely grateful to have had two mentors who shared their knowledge with me. I will say that studying in the RCA is just like knocking on the door to the automotive industry. I learned from ideation with user experience and creating a new type of transportation with sketches and 3D modelling. It made me want to have a chance to develop new vehicles concepts and production cars in the future with my creativity and passion. I believe I can achieve my dream in the future with non-stoppable passion even the road is a bit bumpy. Chris Bangle said that " cars are the sculptures of our everyday lives", and I want to be one of the sculptors to create amazing walking sculptures around the city and solve problems simultaneously. Bring a better life to the ongoing generation and the next generation.
