Main Tasks

This position & responsibility will be generate of the CMF strategy for all Nissan creations (Car design, branding, etc.). Specifically, operations will be conducted based on the following concepts.

・Logical design construction: Maximize design performance with limited resources based on trends and customer needs

・Creating Attractive Stories: Integrating CMF Strategy Value Creation into Stories

:Revolutionary Presenting: Promote products and creations to internal and external stakeholders

We are looking for a leader who can promote Nissan's unique CMF design with a hi-sense and challenging spirit of Nissan. We are looking for a design manager who will be able to create a strategy to achieve Nissan's unique CMF design, which is one of the strengths of Nissan, and the creation of high quality colors that will be remembered by customers, a variety of products that will satisfy customers around the world. I look forward to the free expression of both Nissan and Infiniti brands. In line with our design vision, we are responsible for the direction of design and the propagability and meaning of our ideas, and are responsible for gaining the understanding of stakeholders and building consensus. We invite automotive OEMs as well as automotive parts suppliers (Tier 1 and Tier 2) to join us, so be the leader of an innovative team.


Skills and Experience Required


MUST

・Over 5 years of experience in design direction and team reading in the CMF area

・Experience in communication with overseas bases and other departments and negotiations for commercialization

・submission of portfolio

・Communicating in English (Business Level)

・Experience of the car industry: Required

・TOEIC score: 730

・Japanese: Required(JLPT N2 and above level)


WANT

・Experience in design business management

・high awareness and knowledge of art and fashion

・Experience outside the CMF (Examples: interior/exterior styling, graphic design, UXUI, etc.)

・Experience of the car industry: Required

・TOEIC score: 800

・Japanese: Required(JLPT N1 level)
