Who We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking a Senior Automotive Interior Designer for our Production Design Studio located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.


What You’ll Be Doing

Originating and developing ideas for concepts, near production and/or production design for mobility products by performing the following duties as a member of a project team;

Producing automotive interior sketches, rendering and full scale illustrations for concept and/or production products;

Participating in mobility design development or adaptation and oversees projects as assigned;

Creating design/styling ideas based on factors such as aesthetics, human factors, materials, engineering, packaging, application, methods of production, cost, market characteristics and appropriateness based on objectives of project;

Preparing design data and line drawings for model-making and engineering;

Working with modelers to develop scale and/or full-size model of design (gives guidance regarding design changes as required);

Conducting research to support development of project concepts;

Integrating findings and concepts into two and three dimensional sketches and models.


What You Bring

A Bachelor’s in Transportation Design, or a similar discipline;

5+ years’ automotive design experience with 3+ years in automotive production design;

Demonstrated skill in verbal and visual communication, analytic skills, attention to detail, planning and organizing and collaboration.
