Job Description


Entry level internship creative designer working under the general mentorship of senior designers and leads,
responsible for creating new designs for automotive vehicles and other mobility products including but not limited to:
interiors, exteriors, color and trim and components.  

Work collaboratively in a team of design personnel to achieve design goals as defined by leadership.
Follow design process from initial sketches through final release of models. Present original design ideas and concepts
in scale and full size sufficient to communicate thought process to management and leadership. Capable of
developing 2D and 3D mock-ups of proposed design solutions.  
 

Works closely with team members and cross-functional partners in sculpting and engineering to negotiate

criteria and communicate design intent. Understands program timelines and task completion in a deadline driven environment


Additional Job Description

Create new and unique design (interior, exterior, color and trim and product) and component ideas and concepts

under general supervision for automotive vehicles and other mobility products through traditional sketches as
well as digitally through the use of 2D and 3D technology.  

Collaborate frequently with design team, sculpting organization, engineering and fabrication teams in the
development of new designs. Maintain knowledge of current design trends and technology.
Present ideas frequently to management and leadership to communicate design ideas.
Work duties involve a considerable amount of perception and creativity as well as a strong degree of skill and accuracy to deliver work in a deadline driven environment.
