Hi, I'm Gokulraja Murugesan, a skilled 3D Alias Modeler with over 6 years of hands-on expertise in industrial and automotive design. My experience includes both engineering and design I have a Master's degree in Transportation Design from IAAD in Italy and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University. Over the years, I've had the privilege to work on a variety of projects for top global and Indian businesses including Morris Garages, Maruti Suzuki, Hindware, and Reveal Lasers. My primary expertise is transforming sketches and concepts into high-quality Class A surfaces with Autodesk Alias, always ensuring that design intent and engineering limitations are met. I've worked on electric vehicles, motorbikes, consumer goods, and even medical devices across the entire design process, from conceptualization to final surfacing. Some of my most recent projects include Class A surfacing for an electric hypercar concept for Marc Antoni Racing (USA), reverse engineering, and complicated 3D modeling for high-end two-wheeler designs. Collaboration is an important component of my practice. I appreciate collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, packaging, and style, to create viable and visually attractive ideas. Outside of work, I enjoy photography, travel, and actively volunteer with organizations such as Bharat Scouts & Guides. Overall, I combine a combination of technical rigor, creative thought, and a thorough understanding of both form and function to produce striking, production ready designs.
