Premium Chess Set

Colaboration project with BDI Lab and William Wood. Design and produce a luxury exhibition Chess Game for the artist Lorenzo Quinn. The chess set must reflect Lorenzo's iconic art pieces while creating an unforgettable experience. The Chess set was created by reverse engineering with a high resolution 3D scan each of the real life size sculptures and scale them into the size of the chess set. Using techniques like 3D modelling to repair the mesh and create high quality surface models ready to rapid prototyping prior production.
