About the project

This exercise explores dashboard ideation through abstract visual inspiration, eliminating the need for sketching. By analyzing diverse images—architecture, nature, technology, or abstract art—designers can extract patterns, structures, and spatial relationships. Observing symmetry, layering, or flow in these visuals helps generate unique layout ideas. Instead of drawing, participants verbalize concepts, translating visual insights into potential dashboard structures, interactions, and data representations, fostering creativity beyond conventional design thinking.
