There has always been a segment of the population wired to take risks and seek adrenaline-pumping experiences. With advances in technology and increased accessibility, these individuals have more options than ever before. People are spending large sums of money traveling to remote and dangerous parts of the earth. (Axios 2023) Space tourism is now not a far-off dream, but a reality. Commercial space companies continue to develop, with companies like SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Virgin Galactic making full-size strides in growing space tourism. As the interest in space travel increases, there may be a need for modern merchandise like space footwear that caters mainly to the unique conditions of space.(Frąckiewicz, M. (2023).
