About the project

6-month training course on surface modelling with Autodesk Alias. This experience has allowed me to acquire the skills in using Alias to create A-B-C class surfaces with precision. During the course, I learned how to use the powerful features of Alias to model complex surfaces, achieving high quality results. I have acquired in-depth knowledge of the modelling techniques for CAS, handling of curve and surface control points, reverse engineering from a scan and surface finishing to achieve the required level of precision. Thanks to the training, I am able to create surfaces that meet the required standards, ensuring an aesthetic appearance and optimal functionality. I am also able to translate ideas and concepts into detailed digital models, providing solutions to design challenges. • 3D modeling: external body with blueprint as reference + complete interior (dashboard, steering wheel, trim, pillars, seats) + Reverse-engineering of a motorcycle scan • Cas modeling: Cas model of motorbike, following the starting sketch + Cas concept using SubD • Alias Subdvision: interior (complete door panel and seats) + concept modeling starting from official sketches and more abstract sketches. Having just two views as a starting point, I was able to achieve the proportions and volumes faithfully respecting the feeling of the sketch
